Before you start writing the next great motion picture script you need to think about the central conflict in your story. You need to write down who is leading the action, who is standing in the way of the desired action, and what their conflict is about. This statement is called a logline and if you don't have one it's like starting a cross country road trip without GPS. More importantly, your logline must "hook" the reader into wanting to read your script.
